Check out our March 18, 2025 letter to the Virginia Department of Education urging the Governor to sign House Bill 2686, which mandates automatic enrollment in advanced math courses for students in Grades 5-8 who score in the top 25% on the statewide standardized math exam.

Why This Matters: This policy would remove barriers to acceleration, align with Virginia’s new accountability system, and position the state as a national leader in expanding access to advanced math opportunities.
